This design was selected as the winner from an invited design competition. The site is a part of the larger complex with IKEA store,a public Golf Course, a tourist hotel, research institutes and sports-related street shops. Our design’s main motif was based on the trail ‘from Pitti to Uffize’where Medici family frequently took a walk. We tried to recreate a ‘luxurious’ path where shoppers could enjoy Architecture – simplified classical logia and Art - here represented as items in show-windows (similar to art pieces of Uffize). By trying to modify and simplify the Roman Architecture, we tried to achieve a luxury ambience of the Renessance era.
