Samsung Thales invited us to compete on their new laboratory design. After a series of site analysis, and program analysis, we were able to establish a design guideline that best fit Samsung Thales’s new vision and needs. The strongest design motif of our design is “connection”: Connecting building and nature, connecting people and people, connecting abstract theory into reality, etc. All of the labs and offices are linearly laid out To promote communication between researchers’ and employees, we provided a resting plaza in the form of inner courtyard. ​
