YAMASAKI KOREA has been involved in developing a new prototype for “factory“ apartment with retail. The idea is to create a high-rise tower with “cell“ type factory for IT & BT companies to be sold or rented.
In coming up with Byucksan Digital Valley’s landmark design, we have tried to mimic an “office“ tower with retail on the podium level to differentiate from existing “factory“ apartment market. We were able to meet the tight budget constraint thru use of ceramic tiles and modularized aluminium curtain wall system.
