A competition winning scheme of over 3 million square feet of building areas located in one of the largest bed-town nearby Seoul called “Ilsan“ There are nine residential towers with one office building connected thru a 2nd floor outdoor deck with pedestrian walkways. YAMASAKI KOREA team has tried to create a unit layout where all units have a “view“ Vehicular and pedestrian accesses were totally separated in order to create a safer and ecologically conscious residential environment. An office tower with commercial shops to satisfy 10% of over-all gross areas was located to face the road, not to interfere residential activities.
